C.C. Loveless - Dundee, Miss.

C.C. Loveless, 82, of Dundee, Miss., died Aug. 2, 2001, at Helena Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 14, 1918, the son of the late Kirk Samuel and Pearlie Mae Benefield Loveless in Haleyville, Ala. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Helena and a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Alta Files Loveless, of Dundee, Miss.; two sons, Jimmy Loveless of Elaine and Gaylan Loveless of Elaine; a daughter, Brenda Bishop of Pine Bluff; a sister, Lois Hatcher of Detroit, Mich.; a brother, Curtis Loveless of Dell; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Helena with Rev. Al Majors officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Helena.

Pallbearers were Larry Bishop Jr., Court Bishop, Brian Bishop, Allen Loveless, Belinda Bishop, Candis Wheat, Melanie Tipton and Heather Burke. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. M.A. McDaniel, brooks Griffin, Doug Simmons, Melvin Snyder and John Beasley.
