Margie Ann Stone - Manila

Margie Ann Stone, 53, of Manila, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at her home. Born at Salem, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Birdie Louise Lody and had been a Manila resident since 1950. She was a retired press operator and was a member of the Brown's Chapel Baptist Church at Manila.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Dale Stone of the home; a son, Sammy Dale Stone of Leachville; a daughter, Marylin Adamson of Manila; two brothers, Carl Lomax and John Lomax, both of Manila; a sister, Cathy Rountree of Manila; and four grandchildren, Christopher, Cody, Ashley and Amber.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Martin.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Friday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. Rev. William Piercy officiated. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
