Lois Mae Reid - Doniphan, Mo.

Lois Mae Reid, 87, of Doniphan, Mo., died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2001, in the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan. Mrs. Reid was born June 9, 1914, at Briar, Mo., and had lived in Arkansas for several years before moving back to Ripley County in 1980. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was married to Clyde Metcalf in November of 1932 in Blytheville. He preceded her in death in 1972. She married Ben Reid on July 20, 1975, at Leachville. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1988.

Survivors include two sisters, Doris Kelly and Dorothy Crain, both of Doniphan.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Doniphan Cemetery. Rev. Wade Rogers and Rev. Dale Rickman officiated.
