James Franklin Davis - Bradley, Ill.

James Franklin Davis, 38, of Bradley, Ill., died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at the Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Ill. He was born in Hot Springs and had lived in Bradley for the last year, formerly living in Caraway. He was a millwright with the Birmingham Steel Corporation and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Davis of the home; two sons, Josh Davis and Jason Davis, both of the home: a stepson, Darrell Constant Jr. of Lepanto; a daughter, Stephanie Riley of Jonesboro; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Pollard of Bradley; his father, James A. Davis, of Mountain Pine; his mother, Bonita Ellison, of Caraway; a brother, David Davis, of Caraway; two half brothers, Bradley Davis of Mountain Pine and Devin Ellison of Mt. Ida; a sister, Lori Davis of Caraway; a half sister, Christy Davis of Mountain Pine; a granddaughter; three stepgranddaughters, and a stepgrandson.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Emerson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City with Brother Mark Constant officiating. Burial was in the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Lake City.

Pallbearers were Mike Woodall, Mike Morrow, Randy Constant, Ricky Woodall, Jerry Constant and Bobby Joe Tucker.
