Millard A. Coy - St. Charles, Mo.

Millard A. Coy, 82, of St. Charles, Mo., died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. He was born Jan. 9, 1919, at Cardwell. He was a cement mason/concrete construction worker employed by Hoette Brothers Construction for 33 years. He was a member of Local 527 of Cement Masons, retired from Hoette Brothers Concrete Construction Company, a Private First Class in the U.S. Army and served in World War II from Oct. 1, 1942, to Dec. 1, 1945, and attended the First Assembly of God Church in St. Charles.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Coy of St. Charles, Mo.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Vincent Rost of St. Charles, Mo., and Janet and Ralph Boucher of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Joyce Coy of Overland Park, Kan.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Rose Alice Coy, three brothers, Buford Coy, T.A. Coy and Donald Ray Coy, and a sister, Marie McFarland.

The funeral was held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel, 3950 West Clay, St. Charles, Mo. Interment was at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
