Wilbur Dean Sandefur, 61, of Black Oak, died Monday, April 30, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville. He was a retired mechanic and a member of Mangrum Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Dean Sandefur and Jerry Sandefur, both of Hoopeston, Ill.; a daughter, Chandra Davis of Jonesboro; two brothers, Don Sandefur of Caraway and Albert Sandefur of Manila; three sisters, Jeanette Barrett and Shirley Wright, both of Caraway, and Arzella Carlock of Osceola; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gregg Funeral Home of Monette with John Harvey officiating. Burial was in the Caraway Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Don Sandefur, Dean Sandefur, Albert Sandefur, Jerry Stogsdale, John Stogsdale and Jerry Barrett.
