Martha Elisabeth Cossey - Manila

Martha Elisabeth Cossey, 98, of Manila, widow of Arch M. Cossey, died early Friday, April 27, 2001, at her home. Born at Batesville, she was the daughter of the late William and Susan Gilmore and had been a Manila resident since 1963. She was a member of the Manila Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Arch M. Cossey, Jr. of Leachville; a daughter, Sue England of Manila; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Manila Cemetery with Rev. Robert England, Jr. and Rev. Mike England officiating. Pallbearers were Fred Burks, Mike England, Don Sandefur, Dean Cherry, Bob Farmer and Loy Jackson. Arrangements were under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
