Johnnie Faye Reese - Trumann

Johnnie Faye Reese, 71, of Trumann, died Monday, April 16, 2001, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Belmont, Miss., she was a lifetime resident of Trumann and was a retired employee of Wilshire Corporation. She was a member of First Christian Church of Trumann and of the Christian Women's Fellowship.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Reese of the home; three daughters, Polli Bibbs and Terri McCann, both of Trumann, and Pam Chipman of Manila; four sisters, Christine Qualls of Jacksonville, Fla., Charlene Ray of Jonesboro, Yvonne Wisdom of Morton Grove, Ill., and Bonnie Dorda of Detroit; a brother, J.W. Putt of Jonesboro; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann with Rev. Marlin Gennings officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers were Dale Bibbs, Joe Chipman, Laroy McCann, David Carter, Paul Rowlett, Scotty Watkins, Bub Reese and Michael Reese.

Honorary pallbearers were Billy Reese, Loyd Reese, Delvin Harlan, Wayne Smith, Eugene Pounds, Gary Baldwin, Harold Johnson, Gerry Darr and Bobby Condra.
