Burnice Harding "Bud" Pate - Leachville

Burnice Harding "Bud" Pate, 80, of Leachville died Monday, April 16, 2001, at the Bernard Care Center in St. Louis, Mo. Born at Wooster, Ark., he had been a Leachville resident since 1930 and was a retired carpenter. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Leachville Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Sneed Pate of the home; three sons, Ed Pate of Monette, Billy Pate of Marion, Ill., and Bobby Pate of Leachville; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Mike Henderson officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
