Wilma Jean Springer, 79, of Manila died Monday, April 2, 2001, at the Manila Nursing Center. The daughter of the late Ernest and Ollie Skinner Springer, she was a lifelong resident of the Manila area and was retired from Brown Shoe Company. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Manila.
She is survived by three brothers, Roy Springer of Manila, Wayne Springer of Hornersville and Billy Springer of Kennett; a sister, Madeline Stewart of Manila, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Tony Pasley and Rev. Gerald Vickers officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Malloy, Barry Scott, Brad Scott, Jeremy Murray, Jason Murray and Chris Dunkerson.
