Board discusses ordinances

The Quorum Court’s Finance Committee meeting was held Monday at the Annex Building, where justices discussed needing new ordinances that will replace the current ones. Crime Stoppers to begin student-aimed program

The Greater Blytheville Area Chamber of Commerce’s luncheon series began again on Monday, and Brad Harrison and Molly Jackson spoke about the Blytheville Crime Stoppers program. During the presentation, Harrison mentioned that the program would be partnering with Blytheville High School and Rivercrest High School to start a new sub-program called “The Fast 50.” The new program will be aimed towards student participation and will automatically award $50 to any tipster whose tip leads to the discovery of contraband within the school districts such as drugs or weapons.. ...
