A group of Manila "cowboys" left Friday to join the annual chuck wagon races and trail rides held at Clinton. John and Pat Ellis of Waveland, Miss., had no idea on Friday, Aug. 26, they were leaving their home for the last time. The Arkansas Activities Association board of directors recently recommended the reclassification of a number of area schools, effecting Region 4, which includes the 3AA North and 3AA South Conferences. Long considered one of the toughest regions in the state of Arkansas in Class AA, these two conferences would now be combined to produce a stronger league, making it even more difficult to advance to the Class AA State Tournament...
Riverside boys win tennis opener at Nettleton (09/07/05)
Riverside rode the momentum gained by Tyler Timms' thrilling 7-6 (7-4) comeback victory in number one singles as the Rebels rolled over Nettleton 7-3 in boy's tennis Thursday afternoon at Nettleton in their season opener.
