Leachville Council OKs water connection fee increase

The Leachville City Council voted to increase water connection and reconnection fees, increase employee salary, and continue with street cleaning at the regular city council meeting March 1. The council voted to increase the reconnection free for water customers to $40, and original connection fee to $125. Two forms of identification will be required for water to be turned on, and the applicant must be at least 18 years old. This information is to be kept on file, for future reference...

Christy and Ferrel Duffel moved to Manila a little over a year ago. Brother Ferrel accepted the pastorate of Manila First Baptist Church in February 2003.
