Satan has always been the accuser, it started in the Garden and he hasn't let up yet. In Job 1:6-12 Satan presented himself in front of God and accused Job of only worshiping God because of God's blessings; if Job's possessions were taken away Job would be disobedient and curse God to his face. God told Satan to take away all those possessions but not lay a hand on Job.
We are not robots for God even though we are his creation. God gives us choices. If you read the story of Job you will find he made the right choice, he obeyed God.
We see other accounts of Satan as accuser in the Scriptures:
Revelation 20:7,8 says that Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations.
II Thessalonians 2:11 - And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
We are his creation, those who believe and those who don't. Job says that all are his. Job 12:16 - With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
God gave Adam and Eve the strength and wisdom they needed to not eat, but they chose to listen to the “lies of the deceiver.”
Eve listened, then began to doubt, when Satan said: Did God really say......? Just like children when children are told not to touch something dangerous, this fruit was something that Eve desired.
When Eve realized she didn't physically die upon eating it. That little seed of doubt began to grow so in turn she took the lie that Satan gave her and passed it on to Adam, who joined her in disobedience.
To be continued.
