Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Having a special place for our own prayer time is good and we all need that. As we see in James 5:16 prayer is not always to be kept to ourselves. James says a great healing process is to confess our faults one to another.
Sometimes, there are things in our life that we need help from one another and prayer is a much needed tool. How many of you walk out of the house without your IPOD, Kendal, cell phone, lap top? Not many, why? Because that is our communication, we can't convey, transact or do business without having that tool with us. Prayer is our communication's tool with God.
How many of you out there are constantly networking? When we confess our faults to one another we are networking. If you want to see something get done, find someone that can use the internet to network and you'll have a whole project done in no time.
We need to start a prayer network lifting up fervent prayers to heal. James says we can be healed. We need that network. I need you praying for me; you need me praying for you. We are to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.
I am a firm believer that prayer works. The more prayer going up the more power it sends out. A fervent is a prayer of importance, top priority, sincerity; it needs an honest Christian prayer warrior on top of it.
Righteous = right with God
Fervent = finding it important, putting it at the top
Prayer = communicating with God
Availeth = Gets things done.
