Faith for Healing classes have begun. They will be held on Thursday nights at 6:30, at 110 Olympia Ave., Manila.
Come expecting to receive. When we hear the words convert, converted, or conversion we are usually describing repentance from dead works and faith toward God; turning your back on satan and turning to Jesus as Lord. This would also be an example of the Greek word translated conversion in Acts 15:3, And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren. This word means (to turn from, and to turn toward).
There is another Greek word translated converted, with a slightly different meaning, (to turn, or turn back). As in Matthew 13:15, For this people's heart is waxed gross, and (their) ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with (their) eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with (their) heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
When you're driving a car, the difference between the ditch on the right and a head on collision on the left is just a small turn. One major reason Christian people don't receive God's healing power is because somewhere along the way they have 'turned' in their believing to something God can't bless. Maybe thinking it might not be God's will to heal me? Or perhaps thinking God gave us doctors and they are His healers now?
Notice the verse again, to see something you haven't seen before, to hear something you haven't heard before, to understand something you haven't understood before 'AND MAKE A TURN' so the Healing Power of Jesus can pour through your body and HEAL you! Come face the truth and leave the doubts behind you.
He that hath ears to hear let him hear.
