Is healing in the Gospel?

Posted Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at 9:40 AM

Acts 14: 7-10 - And there they preached the gospel. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked. The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed. Said with a loud voice, stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

It's clear that healing was in the Gospel Paul preached. That's the reason people receive healing in the Gospel I preach. Why? Because of Romans 10:17 - So then faith (cometh) by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

You see if people hear that Jesus' blood has paid the price so that sinners can be made righteous, faith comes to receive it. If people hear Jesus took stripes to purchase the redemption of their physical body, faith comes to receive it. So ask God for boldness, expect to be called names and be persecuted and these verses can apply to you.

Acts 4:12-14 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

He that hath ears to hear let him hear.
