Mark 6:45 And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto
Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.
46: And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
47: And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.
48: And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
49: But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
50: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
51: And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.
There we were, drowning in a dark sea of sin and trouble, we see Jesus walking on top of the troubles of this life with ease and joy, then we cry out to him to save us from this mess we've created and Jesus moves in and does just that.
In the days ahead, we walk and talk with Jesus as He reveals to us the simple acts of obedience that bring us joy, peace, and prosperity. As we feed on His Word, 'it is written devil'! begins to flow out of our mouths as we take charge of this life God has given us. We don't even realize were just acting like children, with child like faith following the Master's instructions into abundant life...
What's your point Duke? My point is keep it simple.. When you saw Jesus walking on the sea, you knew in your heart that He was smarter than you, He knows how to handle any problem you have. So keep it simple in your thought life. When you catch yourself beginning to worry about the problems of this life, run back to where you started with Jesus, The Master of life's challenges, and keep it simple. If satan could have taken you out, you'd be gone, so laugh out loud at him,, ha ha devil, "I'm still here!!!
Keep putting God's Word in your heart, and it will keep coming out of your mouth defeating your enemies. Keep it simple, and you will overcome every temptation satan brings, in Jesus name.
