Staying home wins

I want to thank everyone for taking time to take the poll last week on their favorite place to vacation. Surprisingly "staying home -- It's too hot" received the winning votes with 32.6 percent. Branson was second on the list with 27.9 percent.

I have to agree when the weather gets hot, I don't want to stray far from the air conditioner.

I am looking forward to cooler temperatures this fall.

Hopefully, I will take a few days off and go on a short trip before winter. As I have said before, I am a planner and I am not very good at doing things on the spur of the moment.
