Enjoy the last days of spring break

Posted Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 9:27 AM

Spring break is almost over and I think the students did have a day or two of sunshine to enjoy. I am sure some went on trips and others just enjoyed sleeping in for the week. However they spent the week I am sure it is passing way too fast. They have a few days left -- just enjoy.

Most will be going back to school on Monday, hopefully refreshed and ready to hit the books. Seniors are on their last weeks of high school. It seems during those last two or three months, things get hectic.

It can be a difficult time for parents. It is hard to let go and realize our children are growing up.

We also have Easter arriving on April 4. Maybe we will have good weather for the day. I hope so but it won't stop children from enjoying their Easter egg hunts. I have seen them hunt eggs in the snow but the rain will bring the hunt inside. The tip for inside hunting is just make sure all eggs are accounted for at the end of the day.
