Congratulations

Congratulations to the Manila Lions on their recent wins at the state tournament. The boys will be leaving on Wednesday and play for the state title on Thursday. I wish you all well. It is an exciting time for them, the school, and the community. It will be an experience they will always remember. We are very proud of you all.

My team did not get close to a state tournament but I did enjoy playing basketball when I was in school. I was on the first team when girls' basketball returned to Manila after about 10 years of not having girls' basketball. We may not have been very good that first year but we really enjoyed playing even if it was in the old days when we had to play half court.
