Happy Mothers Day

Sunday is Mother's Day and I hope we all have a great day. There is something special about our mothers and we should not take for granted they know how much we appreciate everything they have done for us. Even though they may know we love them, it certainly doesn't hurt to say it.

Mother's Day is a day set aside to honor our mothers. We really should honor them every day of the year.

Young mothers have it pretty easy today. We baby boomers were born before the day of disposable diapers or liners for bottles. There was a time when mothers had to wash diapers on a rub board, hang them out to dry, no matter how cold it was. They couldn't run to the store and buy processed baby food.

I want to wish every mother a happy Mother's Day. I can't think of anything better or more rewarding than being a mother.
