Good to be homePosted Monday, October 27, 2008, at 4:22 PM
I've been busy catching up since I returned from a few days off. My husband and I went to Virginia to celebrate our grandsons seventh birthday. We seldom drive across country in the fall and I am glad we did this year. The fall colors were beautiful. Like I've said many times, a week off goes much faster than a week of work.
There is something to say about a normal routine when a Monday is a Monday.
I enjoyed visiting the Caraway Harvest Festival on Saturday. To see more pictures of the day, check out our photo gallery.
I want to thank everyone for taking time to vote on the latest poll question about the bank bail out. Most people who voted, 78 percent, did not think it was a good idea to spend the money to bail them out. Now we will just have to wait and see.
Don't forget the time changes this weekend. It is time to "Fall back."
