A new goal

I attended the 78th wedding anniversary of a Caraway couple, Mr. and Mrs. Ode Ward, and I have to say, it was quite an inspiration to me. In August we celebrated our 41st anniversary and it seemed like a lot of years but 78 is an accomplishment. It is hard for me to imagine the changes they have seen in their life together since 1930. Now, thanks to them, I have a new goal.

I am looking forward to the Lost Cane reunion on Saturday at the Community Center in Manila and the Manila Lions Chili Cook-off on Oct. 4. I always enjoy both events. Hope to see everyone there.
