Friday night lights in ManilaPosted Monday, September 8, 2008, at 1:58 PM
I have to say a few words about Manila football's season being underway. Even though I do not know much about football, I was there cheering along with the rest of the fans last Friday night when Manila played their first senior varsity game in over 30 years. I thought it was very exciting and I am going to learn more about the game. It was great and I was happy for the team in their victory, and I was very pleased to see all of the fans there supporting the players, the cheerleaders, the band, and the flag team. I did learn one thing -- if you want to sit in the stands -- you better get there early.
Poll results: Voting on the last poll has been tallied with 55 votes cast. 14 voted yes they were pleased with Joe Biden as vice president candidate; 30 were not pleased and 11 voted indifferent. Thanks for taking time to vote. To be fair, the new poll will give you a chance to say yes, no or indifferent to the Republican Vice President Candidate, Sarah Palin. |
