Have a safe FourthPosted Monday, June 30, 2008, at 3:29 PM
I love the Fourth of July. I always look forward to visiting Caraway during its Fourth celebration. It has actually been around longer than I have. This will make 62 years. I like it because it has kept the "old-fashioned" tradition. A kid going to Disney World could not enjoy the festivities any more than I did as a child visiting the Caraway Carnival.
I also want to comment on everyone who supported the Buffalo Island American Cancer Relay for Life last Friday night. It is good when all of the area communities can work together. Once we got our tent up for the second time (thanks to the wind) we were ready to cook corn dogs. Don't forget to call (870) 561-4634 or e-mail revisb@dailystatesman.com and share story ideas with me. |
