I was on vacation last week and had a wonderful time but it is good to be home with only two lanes of traffic. We had a great time in Virginia and Washington D.C. Being a country girl, I was amazed with the Metro system. It is a great way to get around. I am not a shy person and I managed to talk to people every where we visited. I guess my southern accent gave me away because every one wanted to know where we were from.

Friday (June 27) The Buffalo Island American Cancer Relay for Life will be held at the Leachville city park. We have been doing this for several years and it is such a good cause. I hope everyone who can will come out and take part.
